Entered Apprentice Degree



10th January 2024


The RWM Bro Robert M O’Neil and his Office bearers conferred the Entered Apprentice degree on two candidates taking their first step in Freemasonry. Following the degree work a presentation was made for £500 to St. John Scotland from monies raised by the Christmas Santa Sleigh touring the streets by the brethren at the 1st Alloway Coy, the Boys Brigade, Ayr Battalion.

The Night Before Christmas Campaign 2023

The brethren of Lodge Ayr St. Paul No. 204 were very proud to be able to support The Night Before Christmas Campaign (who needs no local introduction) in the absolutely fantastic work they do supporting families locally, by presenting them with a cheque from the Lodge for £500.

Lecture: St. John Scotland


13th December 2023


Following the close of lodge business, a lecture was held informing of the history of St. John Scotland and the impressive service they provide to the community. We were able to donate £100 to the charity on the evening to support them in providing patient transport, facilitating Public Access Defibrillators (PAD/AED's) to improve chances of survival in the town and surrounding areas, as well as conducting vital lifesaving (CPR + AED) training.

Remembrance Sunday 2023


12th November 2023


This Remembrance Sunday, following the civic parade at Ayr cenotaph, the brethren welcomed serving and veteran members of the Armed Forces community and their families, to the lodge. Ayr St. Paul No. 204 maintains strong links to the services, being initially chartered as Military Lodge 7th (Ayr & Renfrew) North British Militia. The day was thoroughly enjoyed by all, which included members of 2 SCOTS, Old Comrades Association (Ayr Branch) & the Army Cadet Force.

Lodge Ayr St. Paul No. 204 Annual Installation


11th November 2023


The Annual Installation of the Lodge took place on the 11th November 2024.


The deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire was headed by the SPGM Bro Liam Stewart.


The Installing Masters were PM Harry Jamieson who installed the RWM Bro Robert O’Neil for his fifth term as Right Worshipful Master, and PM Bro William McClymont installing the Office Bearers.


The Installation was followed by a festive board with customary toasts and an entertaining evening enjoyed by all.

Visit by Lodge Prestwick No. 1060

Mark Master Mason Degree


11th October 2023


On 11th October, A/RWM Robert O'Neil welcomed a deputation from our sister Lodge Prestwick No.1060 into the Lodge.


Following the transfer of the mallet, RWM Ross Main and his Office Bearers conferred an excellent Mark degree on two progressive candidates.


After the close of the lodge, all brethren enjoyed some harmony together.
